Terms of Service

Effective Date: May 12, 2026

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the MarketLink mobile application (“App”) operated by LiinksGroup (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, accessing, or using MarketLink, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

  1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and LiinksGroup. You must be at least 13 years old to use MarketLink. By using the App you represent that you are at least 13 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

  1. Description of Service

MarketLink is a peer-to-peer marketplace platform that allows users to list, browse, buy, and sell physical goods through in-person meetup transactions. The App also includes community features such as The Lounge (group chat rooms), direct messaging between users, video calling, and a rating system.

LiinksGroup is a technology platform provider. We are not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers. We do not buy, sell, inspect, or take possession of any items listed on the App.

  1. Accounts

3.1 Registration

To access most features of MarketLink, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration, including a valid phone number that you will verify via SMS. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3.2 Account Security

You agree to notify us immediately at support@liinksgroup.com if you become aware of any unauthorized access to or use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

3.3 One Account Per Person

You may not create multiple accounts or use another person’s account without their permission. We reserve the right to terminate duplicate accounts.

  1. User Conduct

You agree to use MarketLink only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You agree not to:

  • List, sell, or attempt to sell items that are illegal, counterfeit, stolen, hazardous, or otherwise prohibited under applicable law.
  • Post false, misleading, or deceptive listings, descriptions, or photos.
  • Harass, threaten, abuse, stalk, or intimidate other users.
  • Post or transmit content that is defamatory, obscene, sexually explicit, hateful, or discriminatory.
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
  • Use the App to send spam, unsolicited messages, or advertising.
  • Attempt to circumvent or manipulate our safety features, security systems, or payment processes.
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access or collect data from the App.
  • Use the App for any fraudulent purpose, including scams or price manipulation.
  • Facilitate or complete transactions outside the App in order to avoid fees or safety measures (“off-platform dealing”).
  1. Listings and Content

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of photos, videos, descriptions, and other content you post on MarketLink (“Your Content”). By posting content, you grant LiinksGroup a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute Your Content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the App.

5.2 Prohibited Items

The following items may not be listed or sold on MarketLink:

  • Illegal or controlled substances, including drugs and drug paraphernalia.
  • Weapons, firearms, ammunition, or explosive devices.
  • Counterfeit, replica, or trademark-infringing goods.
  • Stolen property or items obtained through illegal means.
  • Sexually explicit or adult-only content.
  • Live animals.
  • Recalled products or items that violate consumer safety regulations.
  • Any item whose sale is prohibited by applicable federal, state, or local law.

We reserve the right to remove any listing at our sole discretion, with or without notice.

5.3 Content Moderation

We use automated moderation tools (including AI-based content analysis) and human review to detect policy-violating content. You may report listings or users that violate these Terms through the in-app report feature. We will investigate reports and take appropriate action, which may include removing content or suspending accounts.

  1. Transactions

6.1 Buyer and Seller Responsibility

Buyers and sellers are solely responsible for the transactions they enter into through MarketLink. We strongly recommend that users:

  • Meet in safe, public locations during daylight hours.
  • Inspect items thoroughly before completing a transaction.
  • Never wire money, send gift cards, or use payment methods outside the App.
  • Trust your instincts — if something feels unsafe, cancel the meetup.

6.2 Deposits and Escrow

MarketLink offers an optional buyer deposit feature that holds funds in escrow via our payment processor Stripe until a meetup is confirmed. By using this feature, you agree to Stripe’s Terms of Service and Connected Account Agreement. LiinksGroup is not responsible for payment disputes arising from Stripe’s processing decisions.

6.3 Fees

Use of the basic MarketLink marketplace is currently free for individual users. We reserve the right to introduce fees in the future with advance notice to users.

6.4 Disputes Between Users

LiinksGroup is not obligated to resolve disputes between buyers and sellers. If you have a dispute with another user, we encourage you to communicate directly to resolve it. You release LiinksGroup and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, demands, and damages arising out of or in connection with any dispute with another user.

  1. Ratings and Reviews

After a completed transaction, users may leave ratings and written reviews. You agree that all reviews you submit are honest, accurate, and based on your genuine experience. You may not post fake reviews, incentivized reviews, or reviews designed to manipulate a seller’s or buyer’s reputation. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate these Terms.

  1. The Lounge (Community Chat)

The Lounge provides community chat rooms for MarketLink users. By participating in The Lounge, you agree to treat other users with respect and to comply with all conduct rules in Section 4. Room messages are visible to all members of that room. Do not share personal contact information, private financial information, or any content you would not want visible to the public.

  1. Intellectual Property

The MarketLink name, logo, app design, and all associated trademarks, service marks, and trade dress are owned by LiinksGroup. You may not use our trademarks or branding without our prior written permission. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved by LiinksGroup.

  1. Privacy

Your use of MarketLink is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the App, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy. You can review the Privacy Policy at any time through Settings within the App.

  1. Third-Party Services

MarketLink integrates third-party services including Google Sign-In, Stripe (payments), Agora (video calling), and Firebase (infrastructure). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. LiinksGroup is not responsible for the conduct, content, or practices of any third-party service.

  1. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

LIINKSGROUP DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY OF ANY LISTING, USER PROFILE, RATING, OR OTHER CONTENT POSTED BY USERS. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE QUALITY, SAFETY, LEGALITY, OR AVAILABILITY OF ITEMS LISTED BY USERS.

  1. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LIINKSGROUP AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP OR ANY TRANSACTIONS CONDUCTED THROUGH THE APP.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) $100 OR (B) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO LIINKSGROUP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

  1. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LiinksGroup and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the App; (b) Your Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any rights of another user or third party.

  1. Account Termination

15.1 By You

You may delete your account at any time through Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

15.2 By Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, or conduct that harms other users or LiinksGroup. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

  1. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for violations of intellectual property rights.

YOU AGREE TO WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION AGAINST LIINKSGROUP.

  1. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the App and delete your account.

  1. Miscellaneous
  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and LiinksGroup regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior agreements.
  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
  • Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision.
  • Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights without restriction.
  • No Agency: Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship between you and LiinksGroup.
